However, this time I'm dealing with it a little better...learning not to push so much that I push him away...
In any case - - he needs your prayers massively.
In case you didn't know already - he's a diabetic, and has been since he was roughly 12 years old. He has been having some troubles with a foot that landed him in the hospital not too terribly long ago - - - couple weeks, when I was going nuts. Anyway - we talked earlier this week and he was saying that he was hoping to get some work done this weekend because his whole leg hurt so bad during the week he couldn't move. He called me about an hour or so ago to see if I was working and if I could find out how busy the ER was, and the unit where he would be admitted was because he wants his own room (reasons unbenounced to me - and I wasn't going to ask. I'm thinking it's just so he doesn't have to deal with a roomie - -let me think that)
Anyway - - - he tells me tonight that his toe is black, he hasn't eaten in 2 days and he keeps vomiting....*poor baby* I answered his questions, and asked him to keep me updated and if he needed anything, I'm around and not too terribly busy this week. I gave him my work schedule and told him to page Dr. Bittleman (his doctor) and find out what he thinks and let me know. I got a text shortly thereafter which said he will be going to the office tomorrow. He said he would let me know what they say, and appreciated the fact that I offered to take him to the ER/Office/Etc. I told him if he needed anything I'm always around - - - he's bailed me out a couple times....I don't mind helping him. That and I'm available.....hopefully he'll come around eventually as far as that goes.
In any case - - he can't afford to lose that toe - - nor his foot. Any extra prayers - send 'em his way so he can get better. He's been sick for too long this time around and it worries me. He's the love of my life - and probably always will be...whether we end up together or not.
Heh.
Anyway - - I'm going to attempt to get some sleep....
